Meet New People at a Festival in Belfast

As an adult, it can be hard to form new friendships. Outside of school and work, you may wonder where to go to meet new people. Cities are packed with cultural, social and historical attractions but it's not easy striking up a conversation with a random stranger in such places. In Belfast the answer is simple: a festival! Thanks to its arts culture, there is always some sort of music, dance, theatre or gallery exhibition going on. What better way to encounter like-minded people than to attend an event that interests you?
Going to an event alone can seem daunting, but it shouldn't be. Instead, it gives you an advantage in meeting new people in Belfast. When you think about it, single people are far more likely to be approached than those in couples or packs. By only going to events or festivals with people you already know, you are severely reducing your chances of expanding your social circle. By avoiding these gatherings because you're apprehensive about going solo, you are eliminating those chances altogether. Instead, grab some water, head out to one of these events, and get ready to meet new people in Belfast!
