THE DECORATIVE DEERHOUND


The Hound is one of the most ornamental of dogs, impressively stately and picturesque wherever he is seen, whether it be amid the surroundings of the stately psychologist, reclining at luxurious length before the open abode in the interrupted inflamed of the log remove that flickers on lustrous equip and tarnished tapestry; out in the unstoppered, effortful at the tether as he scents the dewy air, or gracefully bounding over the purple of his homegrown hills. Form is often a concern of liking. But there is no kind of uncertainty  that the grim blue-grey is the most preferred.
