Woman Meets Her Child's Anonymous Sperm Donor, and Something Amazing Happens

If the name Aminah Hart doesn’t ring a bell now, it might soon. Hart is an Australian advertising executive in the middle of a fairytale romance that could be becoming a movie. A couple years before a TV show catapulted her relationship into the spotlight, Hart gave birth to a daughter, Leila, with the help of an anonymous donor.

Shortly after her daughter turned one, Hart requested information on her donor, Scott Anderson. She found him, and they agreed to meet. Monthly get-togethers became more frequent and eventually blossomed into romance. Now, they say it’s “true love.”

The happy couple are currently vacationing with their daughter in Thailand, but have been inundated with story requests from all over the world. "Articles have been sent to us from China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, as well as the UK. It's astonishing that it's had global reach,” says Hart. Working Title Films (the movie makers behind Bridget Jones’ Diary) are also interested in getting rights to their incredible love story.

Hart has also been overwhelmed with touching messages she’s received because of her two sons (born before Lelia), who died due to a rare genetic disorder. "Somehow it's beautiful to me that so many people know of my boys now."
