LONDON: Bad news for Motorola
fans in Europe, as companies flagship smartphone Motorola Droid Moto
Maxx will not make it to this part of the world.
The Moto Maxx made its debut last month,
with high-end specs and features all around. The handset has already
sparked great interest worldwide and is expected to be in high demand.
Motorola recently announced that its new
Moto Maxx will make its commercial debut in Latin America at first,
with other global markets to follow afterwards.
As it turns out, however, it seems that the handset will not enjoy the wide global rollout many were hoping for.
The news comes from Motorola’s French Twitter account, which confirmed that the Moto Maxx will not be available in Europe.
“This smartphone will unfortunately not be available in Europe,” reads a translation of the tweet.
In the U.S., meanwhile, the Moto Maxx is available as the Droid Turbo, exclusively through Verizon Wireless.
