A police officer who pulled over a Florida woman for having inoperable tail lights on her car says the 43-year-old woman claimed she was actually 22 and just had a medical condition that made her look older [via The Smoking Gun].

According to a police report, Jennifer R. Crosby was asked for her license, registration, and proof of insurance, which she said she didn't have because she had forgotten her purse. In lieu of that, Crosby said her name was Christina R. Topp and her birth date was March 16, 1992, which is when Deputy Colby Smith became suspicious, since she looked much older.
Smith says he noticed Crosby could tell he wasn't buying her story and she quickly said she had "a medical condition that makes her age faster."
After the deputy entered the information she gave him into a database and saw she was not who she said she was, Crosby admitted she'd given her daughter's name because her license was suspended. Crosby was then booked into county jail for driving on a suspended license and providing a false name.
As with many seemingly funny and weird crime stories, this one is actually pretty sad. Crosby was previously arrested this summer for possession of crack cocaine, which she reportedly hid in her vagina.
