You have to see the ring.
Harold Smith and Lexi McFarlane had a classic Jim and Pam romance; they
met when she had a boyfriend, but Harold liked her so much that he stuck
around, and eventually they got together.
First, he found a rare and expensive stone called alexandrite that changes color from greenish-blue to purple, for her ring. Those were Lexi's two favorite colors and they resembled the Triforce in the video games. He spent ages tracking down a color-shift sapphire surrounded by alexandrite stones to make the unique ring.

He began carving the chest and ring box himself using the wood from some mesquite trees they'd recently chopped down together. He then installed a USB sound module with a motion sensor so that, when opened, the chest would play the Zelda theme.

It wasn't easy to find a romantic dungeon, but when he finally came across the gorgeous Lava River caves in Flagstaff, Arizona, he knew he'd found the right place. He told her they were going on a camping trip and packed a bunch of candles, the chest, some warm clothes, and, quite sensibly, some kneepads.
Once she'd found the chest, Lexi was so overcome with emotion that Harry completely forgot the speech he'd rehearsed, and all he could blurt out was a simple, "Will you marry me?" Of course, she said yes, and they left the cave to be tearfully welcomed by their parents, whom Harry had flown out as a surprise.
