The Fashion industry a few decades ago was very biased and according to them fashion was only meant for beautiful skinny girls aging under 30 usually. Who are they to judge beauty? Regular sized people gave them a hard time with their strong will power and beliefs that they are much prettier and beautiful than the skinny models that come on television. Eventually they succeeded and fashion industry was forced to change their biased perception. Plus size fashion became the next big thing in the fashion industry.
It was not just plus sized people that benefited from the revolution that changed the fashion ideology. It does not matter what height you are, what complexion you are, what weight you are, what race you are, fashion now is meant for every individual. We can witness every kind of fashion stores now from kids fashion store to plus size stores. Fashion is meant for everybody, everybody has a desire to look beautiful and it's their basic right.
Plus size apparel was very hard to find before which is why there was prevailing fashion gap. Plus size fashion truly makes you feel beautiful and confident. Your body is meant to attract others, your curves are meant to be shown, and you have every right to impress men by flaunting off your body curves in beautiful dresses. Clothes that fit you were hard to find in the past and we had to compromise with the quality or the fitting every time. Either it was too loose, too long or too simple.
But now with designated stores for anyone and everyone, one can get hold of their basic right. Plus size stores have everything that would suit you, that you desire off, that will make you look beautiful, that will make men respect your beauty. Your curvy bodies are meant to be shown off and make men realize that what they are missing on. Plus size fashion industry is now the most important fashion segment and share a big slice of population.
It's nothing to be embarrassed about as it is our basic right to look beautiful. We should not think hard of our age, weight, height, color or race when it comes to being a part of the fashion world. No one has the right to judge us. Plus size fashion has revolutionized the industry and has cleared off all the biasness that was once an integral part of the industry.
