There's some science behind the theories, but they're still fairly unbelievable.

Do you believe you're a product of your astrological sign? You may not be as crazy as your friends might suggest. In a new study,
researchers assessed more than 400 adults and compared their birth
seasons (which also dictate astrological signs) to their temperaments,
or behavioral and emotional patterns. They found some significant trends
that could explain a lot about you.
If you were born in the summer
You're more likely than those born in the winter to have rapid, frequent mood swings between cheerful and sad moods. So you might be thrilled when the roses bloom but unhappy when they wilt. (And go through the same emotional roller coaster when the same thing goes down with the daffodils).

Chances are, you're excessively positive. You probably think you're going to marry your prom date and that every summer fling is The One.

You're less likely to be irritable than people born in other seasons. In other words, you're the best person to be with in a traffic jam, bathroom line, or in the midst of many children.

Compared to winter babies, you're significantly less likely to get depressed. You probably bounce back from breakups quickly and never truly understood the whole blues thing.
Researchers can't entirely explain how your birthday affects your temperament, but that's not to say it's all a big coincidence. One theory is that birth season affects certain brain chemicals responsible for moods even later in life. And while your birth season will never shield you from a bad day or reverse a family history of mental illness, this body of research could eventually help doctors assess your risk of mood disorders and maybe even help you plan conception to get a kid who's more upbeat (or moody, if you like a challenge).
