WASHINGTON: As Samsung enjoying
the success of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, now company
is eyeing to launch sixth successive device on Galaxy S series earlier
next year.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 most likely to be
the successor of Samsung Galaxy S5.Company is still planning about
Galaxy S6 as it is in very early stages.
The Galaxy S6 likely to have major design changes as well as features and specs difference.
As far as specs are concerned, rumours
and specs suggest that the device likely to feature 5.2 or 5.3-inches 4K
display screen it is likely to be powered by Exynos 8000 16-core
processor and Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 64-bit chipset with minimum of 4GB
RAM.
In camera department it will not
disappoint either, as it is likely to feature a 21 megapixel rare and 5
megapixel front camera sensors both capable of recording 8K video.
Storage department might not disappoint
as well because the device is set to boost the storage up to 128 GB. The
device will run the latest Android version Lollypop 5.0 or updated
version if the software.
The features of new chipset include the
modem 4G LTE that would support Advanced Cat 6And the integrated modem
is designed to be paired with the radio frequency module and supports
data transfer speeds at 300 Mbit / s in the most modern frequency
ranges.
To be specific Snapdragon 810 uses
4-core 64-bit processors based on ARM Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A53 (high
performance or efficiency, depending on the specific tasks), GPU
Qualcomm Adreno 430 (support 4K displays and standard OpenGL ES 3.1,
hardware tessellation and geometry shaders).
The device will be IPS certified and could feature eye scanner as well along with finger scanner.
Samsung has ever launched and it is
priced at $770 in most of the countries. Guess what, Galaxy S5 would
also get the maximum price tag of the $750. But we are not sure because
the flexible display concept could increase the cost. However the price
of Galaxy S6 would be maintained in the range between $750 and $800 Max.
As far as release date is concerned the
device is likely to debut as early as April of next year. One this is
clear this time it will be the power house from Samsung.
