If you don’t believe in ghosts, this family’s photo might change your mind. While on vacation in England with their three children, Amy and Dean Harper snapped pictures of England’s Dudley Castle. The famous attraction has been around for almost 1,000 years, and rumors of ghosts roaming the property have been running rampant for centuries.
When the Harpers returned home to Birmingham, AL, a closer look at one of their photos revealed who could be the Grey Lady, the castle’s most talked-about ghost, standing in an archway. According to legend, the Grey Lady is the ghost of Dorothy Beaumont, who died in the castle in 1646 and was denied her dying wish to be buried with her daughter. What does Amy believe about her buzzed-about photo? “It’s really creepy. Dean had heard about the ghost of the Grey Lady, and we think it must be her,” she told the Daily Mail. Amy also believes Dorothy’s young daughter appears in the photo too.
