This exercise regimen is great for anyone who wants to tone up and is also beneficial for post-surgery patients to regain their strength

This simple routine builds strength while toning your body and is safe for women one month after breast cancer surgery (however, always check with a doctor first). Do each move for 1 minute, rest, then move on. Repeat the circuit 3 times.TRICEPS TONERS
Stand facing your kitchen countertop. Lean forward and place your hands on the edge, keeping your back and arms straight. Bend elbows to lower chest toward the counter. Then, slowly push back up as you straighten arms.
CORE STRENGTHENER
Lie on back with hands behind head. Raise your shoulders off the floor, bend knees and lift feet toward chest. Making a bicycle motion, alternate bringing one knee and opposite elbow to meet; do on other side.
WALKING LUNGES
From a standing position, step your right foot about a foot in front of your body, and slowly bend your front knee as if you're taking an exaggerated walking step. Straighten, and step your left leg through to the front, bending again into a deeper lunge, keeping hands on hips for balance. Continue the walk, deepening your lunge each time (but never bending your knee more than a 90-degree angle).
